Jasmine Star Workshop at the Intercontinental Double Bay - Day 1

Late last year, Jasmine put a call out on her Facebook page for some advice and suggestions for locations to hold her Australian #jstarworkshop, a workshop for photographers to inspire them to look at their business differently and to reach their greatest potential. Me, being the crazy overachiever that I am, sent Jasmine what can only be described as the most OCD and overwhelming email ever. I listed locations, each with their own pros and cons and the exact distance down to the mm from public transport (ok, so it wasn't THAT bad, but it was pretty close). Fast forward a few months of email correspondence through different timezones (Jasmine is based in California, cowabunga dude!), and it was finally the week of the workshop!

The #jstarworkshop was held over 2 days, with 2 separate groups of 20 beginner through to professional photographers. We started at the Intercontinental Double Bay - classroom style, then took it out to the streets of DB to practise hands-on what we'd all just learnt.

A HUGE thank you to all of our incredible vendors for their amazing hard work leading up to and on the day.... Deelush Hair, Simone Aspinall Makeup, Samantha Wills Bridal, Leah Da Gloria, Shirt Bar, Wink Models, Mr Cook Flowers, Elevate VM & Styling, Styled by Linda, Yummii and I, Finely Cut and the Intercontinental Double Bay

And Jasmine....thank you for your gut instinct in trusting the styled shoots to me. I'm so thankful to have been able to help you out, after all the help you've given me over the years. I am truly thankful.

Keep an eye out for the images from Day 2's workshop...
