This was the hottest day we've ever shot a wedding. 34 degrees feeling more like 45. No airconditioning anywhere. We got to the ceremony and it was in full sun with no wind. And the red lipstick that I'd chosen for the day had decided it wanted to be anywhere but perfectly placed on my lips, and the beautiful curls I'd done, yep you can forget about those too! But despite the heat I didn't hear anyone complain. Not the groomsmen in their full suits, not the guests as they waited for the bride. Nope, no one. They were all here to celebrate Ash & Ed, despite the extreme weather.
I don't know how they did it but Ash, whilst studying to become a primary school teacher and Ed, right in the height of his nursing studies and placement, designed the most stunningly styled wedding ever. I mean, that floral ceremony arch by Clementine Posy, stop it! And the individual cufflinks with each groomsmen's initials, COME ON!!!
Ed & Ash - you guys are two of the most selfless and loving people and the people surrounding you on your wedding day are a testament to that. It was an honour to witness the love of two such incredible people.
I always have such a hard time narrowing down which photos to share from a wedding day, as each of them has so much love and effort poured into it. But I'll give it a try, so here goes...
P.S. Don't forget to check out the mini film from their wedding day at the bottom of the page too!
